Ok so here I am…….. One week after starting to change my way of thinking when it comes to losing weight.
On Monday my husband and I started T25 from Beachbody. WOW! I have to say for me finding time to workout is one of the hardest parts of staying on track. T25 is great because all the workouts are 25 minutes! Here is one thing I have learned this week………..
Accountability makes all the difference~I am very grateful that my husband has joined me in doing T25. I have heard people talk about being part of an “accountability” group and to be honest I really thought it was over rated but what the heck do I know……apparently not much!!! My way of fighting “the losing battle” hasn’t worked so far so why not try working out with someone who can hold me accountable. Well I have been missing out! Accountability is where it’s at!! There have been a few days this week that I wanted no part of working out but I knew Jeff would be working out and I knew he would be asking if I had. That extra level of expectation really pushed me to stay on track. There are a lot of accountability groups online, beachbody offers quite a few but if you don’t want to be a part of an online group pick someone who you are close to or who you know wants to get on track and start your own group who cares if it’s just two of you checking in with each other!
You don’t have to do an intense program, start small, meet some goals and once you start seeing success you can always increase your program.
Commitment in not my thing! I start things and have a hard time sticking to them. I have finished my first week of T25 and I feel great! It’s not just about the weight loss and getting fit. I feel great because I have stuck to something!
My goal is to lose 20lbs. This week I am down 1lb. 19 more to go!!
I forgot to measure myself when I started so next week I will update with my weight and inches lost! I weigh and measure myself on Wednesday’s. So until next week………
