DIY Yoga Cards

After two kids I’m on the never ending battle to lose weight! I can no longer say it’s baby weight as they are 4 and 8 years old. I think it makes me feel better relating the weight to children instead of saying that it’s too much food and wine!!!! I lost 14 pounds before my husband and I went away for our anniversary but I have gained ten of it back.

I have been back on track and it really feels great! The one thing that I love is yoga. When I’m on track I do it every day!!! I also try to get 3-4 days of a good cardio/full body work out in. On cardio/full body days I still always do yoga! I can’t get enough!!!

I’m a beginner so I don’t have all the poses memorized. I have pinned a ton of yoga sequences on pinterest but the problem is it’s hard to look at the computer while trying to balance on one foot. It really ruins the flow.

So I made my own yoga cards! I looked up all the sequences and the poses that went with them and I printed out photos of all types of poses. I glued them to index cards and wrote the names of the poses on the card.

Now I can create my own sequence quickly and easily or I can find the poses that match the sequences I have pinned and I place them in order on the floor next to my mat and it has made a big difference!

I would love to hear what your favorite yoga poses are!! Comment below!!
